Our Mission:
MindFULL was born out of hurt and isolation. Too many are afraid of the stigmas surrounding mental health. So we gathered them all, around the globe, to form a community where we can be vulnerable and respected, and reframe mental wellbeing as a form of caring for our own fundamental bodily health. Together, we will ignite a new "#MeToo" movement where Our Minds MATTER, where art guides us, and where we're unstoppable.
The Problem:
For too long, adolescents around the globe have been facing profound isolation due to the widespread stigma surrounding mental health. Feeling as though they are “flawed” and alone, millions have tried to navigate the toxic crisis silently on their own.
People around the world understands physical health. If you catch a cold, you rest. If you break a bone, it hurts, and you go see the doctor. But if you have a slight loss of hope, or if you are stressed, it's invisible to the eye. Even worse, you're trapped: if you see a counselor, people will mark you as "crazy" or "insane," blemishing your records. But if you don't go, there's a good possibility it will get worse.
The overwhelming fear is causing only the most critical and urgent cases do see the doctor, and it mischaracterizes what mental health is: a simple wellbeing of a vital part of your body. Millions around the world are suffering in silence, trying to cope with what they can. It's a global health crisis that no one cares to understand.
What We Do
At MindFULL, we turn isolation into a movement or a graffiti. Like graffiti, we're everywhere, and we're willing to break norms to get our point across. We are an art-enthusiastic hub where self-expression is our focus, and a tool to have our voices heard. Colorful and vibrant, we represent what society can be when we open our eyes and accept the true form of ourselves---and our minds. To achieve our mission, we have created 4 branches with a focus on community, data, action, and delivering our message across the globe.
